something new #11

so uh, ya know, nbd or anything but I GOT MY JAPANESE LICENSE today!!!! ahhh!! so exciting. im gonna document it on here so i dont forget (as is the point of my virtual journal). first of all, it was in the pouring rain. pouring! so much so that when it was my turn, we had to wait for it to let up a bit. so i just drove around some towers, had to back in a parking space, and bam it twas done! with a 99% mind you. there were 2 people who took it at the same time with me, and they passed as well but one man actually drove on the wrong side of the road for a sec...yea, idk how he made it. anyway! super pumped, and i cant wait to test it out some more and drive mark around this crazy country he has brought me to :)

something new #10

on the 11th, i officially started decorating our new home! im super pumped about this, i know i shouldnt base so much on the appearance of the place, but it helps me a ton to have it look nice and plus it gives me something to do and think about. i got a couple things in the mail that i ordered from target, and it was like Christmas all over again! my goal is (dont tell mark) to have the house lookin sweeeeeet when he gets back from the long deployment. everything in order and ready to go. cant wait. heres one of the pillows that came in, i seriously have wanted this thing for the longest time:
